Week 4 - MBA 6601 -Is Social Media Teaching AI

 In this recent generation becoming a professional YouTuber is a possible career that one can aspire to be. No only was you tube not a thing just a few years ago, but making a successful career while recording videos and uploading them to a free site would probably sound crazy in the 80/90's. YouTube is only the beginning. With the advancement of other video platforms like Twitch or TikTok, YouTube created the way for careers in these fields. This living could also be a very lavish on with large YouTubes like Logan Paul or Charlie Demilllio. 

Though many might have not used AI to gain their fame it might prove beneficial to them one day to incorporate AI. AI can be a major time saver for many people and if implemented correctly. This can be done by helping with many different things like social captions, images, blogs and emails. A major one that could be forgotten about is AI's ability to find and create partners, manage content, provide analytics and automate payments (Impact.com, n.d.). Understanding that this is the future and coming to terms that its ok to get help with technology. This would not only benefit the social media stars, but also the views. Allowing better content to get out quicker, and with quicker content it allows a better possibility for people to be inspired, educated, or just in general entertained. This is important in a society so people can be productive.

Us as society is not the only thing that will benefit. It is important to look at how AI is being developed and how it learns. For years one way AI companies have been learning and allowing the AI to develop was via social media. You can currently see this through Meta (Facebook and Instagram) implementing AI on their search bars. I think that its annoying right now to use, but again change can be frustrating. I think that it could help advance searches on the apps and be better. I know that right after I watch a video I find interesting I get busy and have to leave the app. I retain the general idea, but cannot find the video again every. Then the idea gets lost and I never get to what the video was doing. Being on social media also helps the AI. This is because its going to pick up on the modern trends, and hopefully advance to the point where the awkward AI writing or just weird outputs it can create decrease or go away. Thus getting closer to actual human writing.
